Is Your Repair Register Missing Something?

For an Offshore Integrity Engineer, ONE simplifies defect record creation, update and information search into a single internet based solution.

ONE provides a workflow process using standard technical information and reference data and update of ongoing inspections and comments. Scans of paper documents or electronic files and images can be uploaded for each defect and are accessible to other authorised users.

By removing the need to send spreadsheets around the world and email documents back and forward this simplifies the transmission of information with an easy to use best practice application.

Time Saving Defect Management

For an Onshore Integrity Engineer, ONE centralises the creation of all defects, reporting, analysis, update and information search functions into a single best practice solution.

search defect management records

ONE is a simple anomaly management system which:

  • Removes the need for multiple spreadsheets to manage a single repair register.
  • Stores all related technical information
  • Upload documents and images linked to each defect record
  • Record comments and actions required
  • Allocate tasks to achieve the required outcome
  • Save repair information and deviation expiry dates
  • Search and Report on all the information stored within a few mouse clicks

By moving away from spreadsheets to a secure live database which can grow to cover all the assets you manage, ONE removes the repetitive filing of ‘dead data’ and enables Offshore staff to create and update the information they generate directly into a standard system.

By removing the update process for spreadsheets for each asset and the filing and distribution of paper updates, this enables people to get on with other valuable work.

All the data entered is instantly accessible to other authorised users in an easy to use best practice application.

Business Advantage

ONE provides asset integrity managers with significant advantages over typical spreadsheet based anomaly and defect repair registers.

  • Higher efficiency using a simple easy to manage system
  • All related information in one place
  • Offshore uploaded data instantly available for analysis
  • Standard practice and terminology across all assets
  • Visibility of all temporary repairs and deviation expiry dates
  • Information store creates accessible knowledge base
  • Monitoring results displayed over defect lifespan
  • Significant reduction in administration time
  • Simple management of all remedial tasks
  • One click reports for major KPI's

Workflow & Control Process

iQIntegrity's ONE system adds workflow, process control and tasking actions to standard repair register principles.

It assists with the management of defects by leading the user through a workflow for the recording and update of repair information, with storage of supporting documents and pictures.

repair management

After defect creation or updates to status, your Onshore Integrity team will review the record and input the required course of action and assign this to another user or group of users.

The workflow, terminology, reports and search filters can all be tuned to suit your existing process during setup. A typical workflow might be:

  1. OIE generates new record in response to repair issue offshore
  2. Description and details recorded by OIE
  3. Defect and damage type and extent recorded with additional text, sketch or photo upload
  4. Wall thickness measurements recorded if relevant and thickness to retiral generated where possible, using OIE entered specifications
  5. OIE recommendations and comments recorded and new defect entered to system
  6. Onshore Integrity Engineering staff notified of new defect by email message
  7. Onshore assessment of findings entered, or request for Technical Authority input tasked
  8. Repair, Monitoring or other Tasks allocated as required, with completion dates or monitor frequency setting.
  9. Part numbers and work order numbers entered for replacements if known
  10. Onshore Integrity signs off defect at this time
  11. Updates to the status and tasks signed off by Onshore ‘owner’ over timeline
  12. Defect closed by OIE after verification of work
